Monkey Head Bead

Grateful, the monkey vanished into the trees—only to return years later, leaving behind a cluster of dark, rugged seeds at the woodcutter’s doorstep. Each seed was shaped like a monkey’s head, with deep grooves resembling eyes and expressions. The woodcutter strung them into a bracelet and wore it daily. These seeds came to be known as "Monkey Head beads", symbolizing agility, loyalty, and spiritual intuition. Though not true Bodhi seeds, they are valued for their hard, dense walnut-like texture, bold natural patterns, and symbolic connection to the clever, untamed spirit of the monkey.
